Power Snorkelling
Power snorkelling is for everybody who likes being in the water, no matter previous knowledge, sportsmanship or endurance. For families, for children, for the beginners but also for the skilled, everybody is in for an awesome experience. For this new type of water sport you use a special type of dive board, which gives you the possibility to move through the water like a fish.
This is how it works...
The dive board gives you the unique experience of observing the world under the sea surface. They boards are made of Plexiglas and has the form of a ray (fish). Due to its dynamic form it will allow you to move through the water almost like a fish and even spin around your own axis (360° turn).
The dive board is attached to the back of the boat through a line, which gives you the possibility to move effortlessly past long stretches of coast. Because you are not using energy on moving forward, it is possible to lave longer dives than during normal snorkelling. It is also possible to stay at the water surface and look through the transparent dive board to observe the sea floor.
For the tours we use two boards which are placed in parallel, so that you have the possibility to make the dive with a friend. This also ensures you the highest sense of security.
Doch wer taucht schon gerne alleine? Wenn Ihr möchtet können auch zwei Diveboards parallel zueinander am Boot befestig werden.
The Tour
With the Land Rover we start the excursion in a previously agreed meeting point. After picking you up we will drive to one of the most beautiful coastal locations in Mallorca. There our tour boat will be waiting to pick us up. All the equipment including diving masks, snorkel and wetsuit (shorties) will be found on the boat.
While two persons are diving, the rest will get a chance to enjoy the formidable coastal stretches and the horizon.
For the brave individuals that would like to get a kick, it is possible to do some minor cliff jumping from a natural occurring rock.
You must calculate using around three hours on the excursion, all inclusive.
We begin the tours in the end of April and offer power snorkelling until late autumn or as long as the ocean is calm and it’s warm enough. In summer we offer the power snorkelling tours three times daily.
